What To Wear
I get asked all the time "what should I wear" so I decided I'll do a blog post about my favorite outfits in sessions for guidelines!
When doing family photo's the worst thing you can do now days is show up in matching outfits. You want to color scheme together! Seasons are always different! You don't want to freeze while you're doing pictures in winter! As you can see in pictures above they used jackets, vests, hats, scarfs but made them look great together! It's always easier when you pick the a color scheme, start with the youngest outfit and coordinate from theirs! Try to stay away from anything with logos on them!
Seniors! Be fun, be spunky, be you! Bring something that means a lot to you, cheer outfit, football jersey and football. But also bring your nice outfits. I love love love dresses and hats together. I love plain shirts with jewelry, I love strips and vests/cardigan!
Couples are the same, you don't want to show up in matching outfits.. it's all about color schemes! Pick a color scheme, layer up clothes that match. Stay away from logos, stay away from hats (they are usually covering faces in pictures). My best advice is to try to stay with plain colors, they make the pictures look clean and beautiful!
I ALWAYS love neutral, earth-tone, grays, and mustard yellows when it comes to pictures!
